Circle CCTP now supports the Stellar network, which has been assigned as the 27th domain.
According to Foresight News , Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) has added support for the Stellar network, which has been assigned as the 27th domain of CCTP. Developers can now directly transfer USDC between Stellar and other supporting chains via CCTP.
Circle announced that native USDC, EURC, and CCTP will soon be available on the Cronos blockchain.
According to Mars Finance, Circle officially announced that native USDC, EURC, and CCTP (Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol) will soon be launched on the Cronos chain. Cronos is reportedly an EVM-compatible Layer-1 blockchain supported by [unclear - likely a blockchain name or code]. Currently, Cronos runs a bridged version of USDC (USDC.e). Circle and the Cronos team plan to gradually migrate liquidity to native USDC. The existing bridged version of USDC will remain unaffected and continue to operate normally. Furthermore, native USDC will also be used for deposits and settlements on the Cronos App, allowing users to trade assets such as stocks, cryptocurrencies, and prediction markets through the platform.
Flutterwave receives investment from Circle Ventures to expand its USDC payment and settlement business in Africa.

This investment aims to expand Flutterwave's USDC payment and settlement business in Africa. Flutterwave stated that stablecoins are becoming core financial infrastructure, and the company is committed to building faster and more flexible cross-border fund transfer methods to help businesses achieve cash flow. According to a previous report by Foresight News , Ripple acquired a stake in African fintech company Flutterwave in June of this year for a valuation of $3.3 billion.
ZachXBT: A hacker withdrew 3200 ETH from Tornado and laundered approximately $5.5 million through Circle's CCTP cross-chain service.
PANews reported on July 5th that on-chain detective ZachXBT disclosed on his personal channel that a hacker withdrew approximately 3200 ETH via Tornado Cash between July 2nd and 3rd. The funds are related to two private key leaks. The address subsequently used Circle's CCTP cross-chain bridge to launder approximately $5.5 million in assets across chains, further transferring USDC to seven deposit addresses on the Arbitrum network. ZachXBT pointed out that this fund flow exhibits a typical decentralized money laundering path, utilizing mixing tools and cross-chain infrastructure to reduce the difficulty of tracing. The related on-chain assets are still continuously circulating.
