AngelList will cease supporting cryptocurrency investments at the end of July due to the shutdown of its third-party payment service.
According to Foresight News , AngelList, a venture capital firm, announced on its official help page that it will no longer support investment and financing using cryptocurrencies starting July 31, 2026. The announcement stated that its third-party cryptocurrency payment service provider will soon cease operations, therefore the option to use digital assets such as USDC, USDT, DAI, and ETH to complete new investments, fundraising, or rolling fund subscriptions will be suspended across the platform until further notice. Other financing methods, such as ACH transfers and wire transfers, will not be affected. The announcement states that investments completed on or before July 31, 2026, will not be affected by this change and require no action from users; thereafter, users will need to use ACH or wire transfer to complete fund payments. For outstanding capital commitments originally planned to be made in cryptocurrency, AngelList advises investors to transfer all corresponding cryptocurrency assets to their AngelList accounts for safekeeping before July 30, or to complete subsequent investments via wire transfer or ACH. AngelList stated that it is evaluating the possibility of restoring digital asset financing functionality through a new service provider, but there is no definite timetable yet.
0xSun: I've already buy the dips in ANSEM and NEST, and I believe Solana will remain the engine of this round of on-chain price increases.
According to Odaily Odaily, trader 0xSun stated that he has purchased ANSEM and NEST at market values of approximately $280 million and $6 million respectively, in order to participate in the current on-chain market volatility. He believes that the on-chain market performance driven by blknoiz06 was active in this round, with strong Meme coins appearing in Solana, BNB Chain, and Robinhood Chain. However, the overall rotation was extremely fast. Except for ANSEM, which continued to rise for more than a week, most of the other leading chains peaked overnight. 0xSun stated that ANSEM has already corrected by over 40% from its peak, and given Ansem's continued activity and the fact that approximately 60% of its tokens remain uncirculated, a rebound is highly probable. NEST, on the other hand, is a riskier and more volatile asset, with its short-term price movement still primarily driven by market sentiment. They also believe that for investors with smaller capital, the crypto market remains a more suitable market for high-risk, high-reward plays.

According to Foresight News , security expert Michael Coates announced on the X platform that he has been appointed Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of the Solana Foundation, marking a new chapter in his career. Coates previously served as Head of Security at Mozilla, CISO at Twitter, and founded Altitude Networks, a startup focused on enterprise SaaS data security, which was later acquired by CoinList, thus entering the crypto industry. He mentioned that future work will focus on integrating security capabilities into the foundation of industry operations and application security, addressing the unique security challenges of cryptocurrencies, and collaborating with policymakers and standards bodies to promote improvements in cybersecurity regulation.
