Bridge has obtained both MiCA and EMI licenses, allowing it to legally conduct business throughout all EU member states.
According to Foresight News , stablecoin payment platform Bridge announced that it has obtained a MiCA license and an EMI (Electronic Money Institution) license in Luxembourg. Bridge can now legally operate in all 27 EU member states. The new licenses will enable Bridge to provide customers with virtual IBANs and Euro accounts, supporting cross-border fund transfers across the EU; help companies issue their own Euro stablecoins for top-ups, rewards, loyalty programs, or in-app currency; support companies in transferring funds between subsidiaries using their own stablecoins; and help banks and financial institutions achieve faster, lower-cost inter-institutional settlements using stablecoin channels.
