Doubao: The intelligent agent function will be discontinued on July 15th.
According to Mars Finance, Doubao platform announced that due to product feature adjustments, the AI Agent function will be discontinued on July 15, 2026. After the function's discontinuation, users can still view and save AI Agent information and historical dialogue data through Doubao for a period of time. After October 15, 2026, Doubao will process AI Agent-related data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, and it will no longer be possible to view or recover it within Doubao. For important content, it is recommended to back it up in advance by taking screenshots or sharing exported text. It is understood that AI Agents are interactive intelligent characters created on Doubao. Users can create their own AI Agents through some basic settings to meet their needs in work, life, and entertainment. (Cailian Press)
The Qianwen Intelligent Agent function and services will be officially discontinued on July 15th.
PANews reported on July 6th that Doubao recently announced its AI agent function will be taken offline on July 15th. At the same time, Qianwen (Tongyi Qianwen) also sent users a "Qianwen AI Agent Service Offline Reminder," stating that the Qianwen AI agent function and service will be officially taken offline on July 15, 2026. After the offline date, users will no longer be able to access related AI agent configurations and historical dialogue records. On June 26th, the Shanghai Municipal Cyberspace Administration announced the first phase results of the "Clean Up and Rectify the Chaos in AI Applications" special campaign, with over 14,000 illegal AI agents removed. Among them, MiniMax continued to remove illegal AI agents such as "one-click stripping" and gambling apps, becoming one of the key targets of the rectification. It is understood that the "Interim Measures for the Management of Humanized Interactive Services of Artificial Intelligence," which will officially come into effect on July 15, 2026, is in the preparation stage.
Report: Fixed computing power masks the true capabilities of AI; the evolutionary speed of cutting-edge intelligent agents is underestimated by 60%.
According to Beating's monitoring, the UK AI Security Institute points out that current mainstream AI agent testing has significant blind spots. Evaluation methods with fixed computing power limits severely underestimate the true capabilities and iteration speed of models. The research team tested the performance of several cutting-edge large-scale models in benchmarks such as cybersecurity, software engineering, and mathematics. The test results show that the performance of an agent is not a fixed score, but rather a curve that continuously increases with test-time compute. In network attack and defense tests, when the computing power budget increased from 2.5 million tokens to 50 million tokens, the upper limit of the complexity of tasks that the most advanced agents could overcome (equivalent to human time) skyrocketed from 2 hours to 14 hours. Many attempts that failed with low computing power could eventually complete the task if given sufficient computing power to allow the agent to explore and correct errors. The new model's utilization efficiency of test-time compute power is significantly higher than that of the old model. Under a sufficient budget, the measured trend of cutting-edge capability evolution (the slope of the fitted curve) is approximately 60% steeper than in low-computing-power tests, demonstrating that traditional assessments severely underestimate the true iteration speed of AI. However, this computing power advantage has its limits; in fields such as healthcare where immediate feedback is lacking, increasing computing power does not necessarily improve the performance of intelligent agents. As inference costs decrease, low-budget assessments may lead decision-makers to underestimate the risks of AI agents in practical applications.
The 2026 China (Nanjing) Embossed Intelligent Robot Industry Exhibition will be held from July 10th to 12th.
According to Mars Finance, the China (Nanjing) Embossed Intelligent Robot Industry Exhibition will be held in Nanjing from July 10th to 12th, 2026. The exhibition is expected to attract over 450 domestic and international exhibitors and over 35,000 professional visitors. From core components (sensors, actuators, AI chips) to complete systems (humanoid robots, service robots, special-purpose robots), and industry solutions, it constructs a complete ecosystem of "technology-product-application". Tencent Cloud: DeepSeek-V4 official version "direct from the manufacturer" model is scheduled to be launched in mid-July.
PANews reported on July 3 that, according to a Tencent Cloud announcement, Tencent Cloud's large model service platform TokenHub and intelligent agent development platform plan to officially launch the DeepSeek-V4 official version "direct from the manufacturer" model in mid-July, and simultaneously introduce a peak-valley billing mechanism. DeepSeek-V4-Pro will be charged based on millions of tokens during normal times: 0.025 yuan for cache hit, 3 yuan for inference input, and 6 yuan for inference output; during peak hours, the charges will be 0.05 yuan, 6 yuan, and 12 yuan respectively. DeepSeek-V4-Flash will be charged during normal times: 0.02 yuan for cache hit, 1 yuan for inference input, and 2 yuan for inference output; during peak hours, the charges will be 0.04 yuan, 2 yuan, and 4 yuan respectively.
U.S. Senator Mark Warner will introduce a draft bill on AI Agents, shifting the regulatory focus to intelligent agent systems.
PANews reported on June 29th that, according to The Information, U.S. Senator Mark Warner plans to release a draft bill on Monday focusing on the rapidly developing field of "AI Agents." The U.S. Congress has already introduced dozens of AI-related bills covering areas such as deepfakes and model security, and this draft bill will further extend the regulatory focus to the cutting-edge field of AI Agents. The report states that compared to conversational applications like ChatGPT and Claude, AI Agents are becoming a key driver of AI technology growth and capital investment, widely used in customer service systems, automated task processing, and various online service scenarios, representing a significant direction for the next stage of AI industry development.
