Maple Finance launched syrupUSDG and listed it on Robinhood Chain.
According to Foresight News , on-chain lending protocol Maple Finance has announced the launch of a new product, syrupUSDG, on the Robinhood Chain. Risk management firm Steakhouse Financial has approved syrupUSDG as collateral for the Robinhood Earn vault (Robinhood's first decentralized lending product within the Robinhood app). This collaboration involves Morpho providing the vault infrastructure, Paxos handling the compliant issuance of USDG, and Robinhood providing the distribution channels to millions of users. syrupUSDG is currently available on Ethereum and the Robinhood Chain, with more chains to be supported in the future. Robinhood will roll out the service to its customers in phases over the next few weeks.

EthLabs released its "Week2" update report, highlighting progress on Ethereum interoperability, PropAMMs, and funding.
According to Mars Finance, on July 6th, Barnabé Monnot (barnabé.eth), founder of EthLabs, released a "Week 2" update, summarizing the team's latest progress and ecosystem discussions during the launch and fundraising phases. Regarding interoperability, the team stated they are increasing their confidence in "asynchronous interoperability based on zero-knowledge proofs (zk)," believing this will help build more secure cross-chain bridges and improve the native distribution capabilities of assets across Ethereum's multi-layered network. Currently, some cross-chain paths still suffer from latency issues, especially in the L2→L1 direction; in this context, the intents mechanism can serve as a transitional solution, while sufficient L1 liquidity also helps match cross-chain solvers. Meanwhile, the L1→L2 path is expected to significantly reduce confirmation latency through the Fast Confirmation Rule (FCR), and some clients have already begun integrating this mechanism. In terms of ecosystem discussions, PropAMMs (proposal-based AMMs) have recently become a focus of attention for many teams and researchers, primarily due to their potential optimization space between L1 execution efficiency and transaction building. Meanwhile, ENS is emphasized as a "critical infrastructure for Ethereum," and the team continues to communicate with relevant stakeholders to advance its development direction. Regarding team building, Ethlabs has received over 300 applications and has processed approximately 20%. The short-term goal is to expand to approximately 10 people, and the medium-term goal is to expand to approximately 20 people, focusing on recruiting talent with engineering capabilities and domain expertise. Regarding funding, Ethlabs stated that its current funding round is nearing completion and has secured early support from BitMNR, Sharplink, and Ethereum Joseph. The plan is to bring in 1-2 more core investors before moving to the next stage.
EtherFi proposes deploying a dedicated Aave V4 instance on the OP Mainnet to support EtherFi Cash.
According to Mars Finance, on July 3rd, EtherFi proposed a Temp Check, requesting the deployment of a dedicated Aave V4 white-label instance operated by EtherFi on the OP Mainnet. This instance would serve as the credit backend for its Visa card product, EtherFi Cash, replacing the current Debt Manager. The instance would share liquidity and other market isolation with Aave, with EtherFi responsible for configuration, risk parameters, liquidity, and operations. Aave would provide the V4 deployment and operation license and receive 20% of the reserve factor revenue. Commercial terms also include integration with GHO, deployment of GHO GSM on the OP Mainnet, a maximum initial asset launch of $175 million, and exclusive access to the Aave V4 lending market for EtherFi Cash. The proposal will gather at least 5 days of community feedback. If approved, it will enter the ARFC phase, with a target deployment date of July 2026.

Palantir CEO: Enterprises are dissatisfied with "cutting-edge labs" like OpenAI and Anthropic, which only pursue token maximization.
According to BlockBeats, on July 2nd, Palantir CEO Alex Karp, in an interview with CNBC's "Squawk Box," strongly criticized leading AI model companies, calling the way AI is sold "completely wrong." Karp emphasized that companies are already dissatisfied with "cutting-edge labs" like OpenAI and Anthropic, believing they only pursue token maximization, wasting companies' time and money while handing over proprietary value and IP. Karp stated that companies are "angry" and will commit to owning their own AI production resources rather than relying on third parties. On June 29th, Palantir partnered with Nvidia to deploy Nvidia Nemotron open AI models in sovereign environments, primarily serving the US government and critical infrastructure customers. The collaborative system reportedly integrates Nvidia AI technology with Palantir's AIP, Foundry, Ontology, and Apollo platforms, helping organizations train, customize, and deploy AI locally while maintaining complete control over data, intellectual property, and models.
