CryptoQuant: Surge in BTC and Altcoin exchange deposits may indicate increased market volatility.
According to CryptoQuant, as reported by Odaily Odaily, the inflow of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Altcoin into exchanges has increased significantly recently, a pattern that historically often foreshadows a period of higher volatility in the crypto market. Julio Moreno, Head of Research at CryptoQuant, pointed out that the inflow of nearly 49,000 BTC into exchanges on June 30th is a rare and extreme level. There have only been four similar single-day deposit peaks approaching 50,000 BTC this year, and these peaks are typically followed by significantly amplified price volatility and clear directional price movements. The report argues that at the current inflow level, the market is absorbing a significant amount of Bitcoin that has been transferred to exchanges. Since transfers to exchanges typically imply potential selling pressure, position adjustments, or increased demand for derivatives margin, this could trigger more volatile price movements. CryptoQuant also points out that the inflow of Ethereum and Altcoin into exchanges is also increasing, indicating that the pressure is not limited to Bitcoin but is spreading to the broader crypto asset market. Overall, the surge in exchange deposits may indicate a more significant shift in market direction in the short term.
Nomura refutes the "semiconductor market has peaked" theory: An "epic gap" is coming; price increases and upward profit revisions remain the biggest catalysts.
Mars Finance reports that Nomura warns the AI semiconductor cycle is far from peaking, with a potentially "epic" supply chain mismatch expected in the second half of 2026. As cloud vendors continue to expand their capital expenditures, shortages of advanced packaging, PCBs, and CCLs will drive price increases and upward revisions to earnings. While TSMC is aggressively expanding its wafer-level packaging capacity, the real supply bottleneck will shift to wafer-level substrates (WoS) and smaller components such as printed circuit boards (PCBs) and copper-clad laminates (CCLs). This structural shortage will directly exacerbate short-term market price volatility, but it also confirms the long-term sustainability of this cycle. (Cailian Press)
Guangdong: By the end of 2027, the province's urban digital infrastructure support capabilities will be significantly enhanced.
According to Mars Finance, 11 departments, including the Guangdong Provincial Government Service and Data Management Bureau, recently issued the "Guangdong Provincial Action Plan for Promoting the Digital Transformation of Cities and Building Smart Cities." The plan emphasizes using cities as comprehensive carriers for the construction of Digital Guangdong, promoting infrastructure connectivity, data integration, platform interoperability, business integration, and a smooth ecosystem. It also aims to actively explore future-oriented smart city management models and achieve high-quality development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area smart city cluster. By the end of 2027, the province's urban digital infrastructure support capabilities will be significantly enhanced, the level of efficient digital governance will be greatly improved, digital public services will be more efficient and convenient, the momentum of digital economic development will be fully released, and the digital ecosystem will be comprehensively and collaboratively guaranteed. A number of effective and replicable typical application scenarios for digital transformation will be implemented, with Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan, and Dongguan taking the lead in building efficient smart governance systems and implementing a number of advanced, usable, and independently controllable large-scale urban models. By 2030, no fewer than 10 cities will have achieved full-area digital transformation, achieving an overall leap in the digital transformation of cities throughout the province, forming a number of new smart city benchmarks and digital China city models with regional competitiveness and national influence. Sources indicate that Saudi Arabia plans to expand its oil pipeline along the Red Sea, bypassing the Strait of Hormuz and increasing its daily transport capacity by 2 million barrels.
According to five sources familiar with the Odaily, Saudi Arabia is considering expanding the capacity of its crude oil pipeline to the west coast of the Red Sea, enabling Saudi Arabia and its neighbors to transport more oil without passing through the Strait of Hormuz. Built in the early 1980s, this east-west pipeline has become increasingly strategically important since the outbreak of the Iran-Iraq War in February and the disruption of shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. The pipeline can transport up to 7 million barrels of crude oil per day to the Red Sea port of Yanbu. In May, the CEO of Saudi Aramco stated that approximately 2 million barrels would supply refineries on the west coast, and about 5 million barrels would be exported. Sources say that Saudi Arabia is in preliminary discussions with some neighboring countries regarding pipeline expansion, planning to add approximately 2 million barrels of pipeline capacity per day. It is unclear whether Aramco's planned expansion involves upgrading existing infrastructure or building a new pipeline. One source said the expansion plan also includes a smaller refined oil pipeline. Two sources said the expansion could be between 1 million and 2 million barrels per day, with refined oil products also under consideration. Another source indicated that the project would take several years, cost billions of dollars, and require adjustments to Saudi Arabia's crude oil pricing mechanism. (Jinshi)

Financial AI operates outside of regulation; the UK's FCA plans to expand its jurisdiction over AI giants such as OpenAI and Anthropic.
According to Beating's monitoring, Sheldon Mills, Executive Director of the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), warned that regulators are facing an "arms race" to keep pace with the rapid adoption of AI in the financial services industry as businesses and individuals accelerate their adoption. Mills' report on the financial impact of AI indicates that 20% of UK adults are already willing to let large models make their savings or borrowing decisions. While this service offers an experience equivalent to regulated traditional financial advice, its lack of regulatory oversight means users are unable to obtain any financial compensation when they suffer losses. The report recommends an urgent review of the risks of unregulated financial AI and an application for expanded legislative authorization to strengthen oversight of core technology providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Amazon, Google, and Microsoft through a "key third party" mechanism (the UK government has not yet finalized the specific list). It also recommends collaboration to launch free public financial literacy and decision-making guidance services assisted by AI.
