Squid integrates with Ripple's stablecoin RLUSD, supporting one-click cross-chain exchange.

Odaily Odaily reports that cross-chain infrastructure platform Squid has announced the integration of Ripple's stablecoin RLUSD, allowing users to exchange for or withdraw RLUSD between different blockchains and digital assets in a single transaction. Through this integration, RLUSD will be connected to more than 100 blockchains and over 20,000 tokens supported by Squid. Users can directly exchange assets such as USDC, USDT, ETH, and XRP for RLUSD without manually performing cross-chain transactions, token encapsulation, or executing multiple transactions. RLUSD is currently natively issued on XRP Ledger and Ethereum, and is extended to Ethereum Layer 2 networks such as XRPL EVM Sidechain, Optimism, Base, Ink, and Unichain through Wormhole's Native Token Transfer standard. Squid's routing layer sits on top of these underlying transfer mechanisms, allowing users to use RLUSD without being restricted by a specific issuing chain. Squid states that its intent-based routing system allows market makers to fulfill orders on the target chain using liquidity, with settlements within seconds, and compatibility with various cross-chain messaging and issuance standards. In addition to end-users, developers can also integrate RLUSD through Squid tools for cross-chain payments, treasury management, user deposits, and DeFi applications.
