Haedal launches its own AMM engine, Haedal PropAMM.
According to Foresight News , Haedal, the capital efficiency layer protocol on Sui, has launched its proprietary market-making engine, Haedal PropAMM. Driven by quantitative market-making strategies, it aims to more flexibly capture on-chain volatility and convert trading flows into recurring revenue for the protocol. This product runs in parallel with Haedal's existing market-making product, HMM. While HMM performs active market making based on oracle pricing, Haedal PropAMM adds a more flexible proprietary strategy layer to handle on-chain trading flows from mainstream aggregators and trading gateways on the Sui chain. According to data from Jump Crypto cited by Haedal, in March of this year, the leading PropAMM on Solana processed $19.87 billion in trading volume on the SOL/USDC and SOL/USDT trading pairs, which is comparable to the combined trading volume of the SOL/USD trading pairs on Binance, Coinbase, OKX, and Bybit during the same period. According to public market data, the PropAMM model currently processes about half of the total trading volume of DEXs on the Solana chain, and about 40%-50% of the trading volume of the 0x Swap API on Base is also routed through PropAMM.
