Google's flagship model, Gemini 3.5 Flash, natively supports PC control, unlocking enterprise-level intelligent agent automation.

According to Beating's monitoring, Google has integrated the Computer Use functionality as a built-in tool directly into its main model, Gemini 3.5 Flash. Before native integration, developers had to use a dedicated Gemini 2.5 Computer Use model to execute agent tasks. With native integration, developers and enterprise users can directly control devices through the Gemini API or the Google Cloud Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform (formerly Vertex AI platform), simplifying agent development architecture. The built-in Computer Use tool receives screenshots from browsers, mobile devices, or desktop environments, performs visual perception and step-by-step reasoning, and then outputs operation commands such as mouse clicks, keyboard input, scrolling, and menu navigation to complete long-process automated tasks such as continuous software testing and cross-web data collection. To facilitate debugging and auditing, the model generates commands with an "intent" field to explain the logic of each operation. To address the risk of tooltip injection that agents may encounter in real-world network environments, Google has conducted targeted adversarial training on its models and provides two optional safeguards: mandatory human approval for irreversible operations such as payments and file deletions; and automatic task termination if indirect injection commands are detected in screenshots. Browserbase currently offers an online hosted demo environment (gemini.browserbase.com), and Google has also open-sourced a reference implementation called computer-use-preview on GitHub.

Microsoft Developer Conference Focuses on the Full Stack of AI Agents: Self-developed MAI Model, Foundry, Windows Native AI, and Quantum Chips Debut

According to BlockBeats, on June 3rd, Microsoft's Build 2026 conference kicked off in San Francisco, shifting its core theme to "Deployable and Governable AI Agent Platforms." Microsoft released its self-developed MAI model family, covering inference, programming, image processing, speech recognition, and transcription capabilities, with MAI-Thinking-1 being its first flagship inference model. Microsoft Foundry received a major update, adding an Agent runtime, toolkit, memory, Foundry IQ (enterprise knowledge retrieval), Voice Live, evaluation and governance tools, and strengthening the Agent development chain from prototype to production deployment. On the Windows side, Microsoft focused on native AI as a key developer platform, launching more developer-oriented Windows configurations, intelligent Shell/Terminal, Agent sandbox, and upgraded WSL capabilities. It emphasized that Foundry on Windows allows small models, Agent inference, and natively coded models to run on PCs. On the hardware front, Microsoft released the Surface RTX Spark Dev Box for AI developers, equipped with the NVIDIA RTX Spark superchip, offering up to 1 petaflop of AI computing power and 128GB of unified memory for local operation, fine-tuning of large models, and Agent workflows. Furthermore, Microsoft also released its next-generation topological quantum chip, Majorana 2, claiming that its qubit reliability is 1000 times better than the previous generation, with an average lifetime of 20 seconds, and advancing its timeline for achieving scalable quantum computers to 2029. Microsoft Discovery also officially achieved General Availability (GA), enabling research and engineering teams to accelerate development through AI agents. As of the latest writing, Microsoft's after-hours stock price was down 0.65%, compared to a 4.17% drop at Tuesday's close.
