HYPE is the native token of the Hyperliquid ecosystem, which is a high-performance L1 on-chain derivatives protocol. Inverse contracts allow users to directly use HYPE as collateral for trading without needing to convert it to USDT, making it suitable for long-term HYPE holders to hedge or enhance their returns.
