PANews reported on June 24th that Lightning Labs has released Taproot Assets v0.8 and its accompanying SDK. The new SDK allows developers to quickly integrate stablecoin functionality onto the Bitcoin network, adding features such as backup and recovery, multi-asset liquidity control, and faster proof verification, aiming to improve infrastructure efficiency. Lightning Labs stated that the future of multi-asset Bitcoin has arrived and encourages developers to begin building.
Bithumb will launch the Impossible Cloud Network (ICNT) Korean Won trading pair.
According to Mars Finance, on July 7th, Bithumb trading platform will launch the Impossible Cloud Network (ICNT) Korean Won (KRW) trading pair at 17:00 (Korean time) on July 7th, supporting the BASE network. Deposits and withdrawals are expected to open within 2 hours of the announcement. Initially, trading restrictions will be implemented for the new coin, including a ban on buying for the first 5 minutes after opening, and a selling price that cannot be lower than 10% or higher than the reference price for the first 5 minutes. Limit orders will also be supported for approximately 2 hours after launch to ensure market stability.
Secret will be migrating to Arbitrum, and a one-time snapshot of SCRT holdings will be taken on September 1st.
Foresight News , Secret Network, the privacy public chain within the Cosmos ecosystem, has announced a partnership with Arbitrum, with its token SCRT planned to migrate to the Arbitrum network. Secret will conduct a one-time snapshot of SCRT holdings on September 1, 2026. Following the snapshot, a new ERC-20 version of SCRT will be issued on Arbitrum, which holders can claim using Merkle root proofs. No prior asset deposit is required, and there is no deadline for claiming. The snapshot covers native SCRT and staked SCRT (including those being unbound), but excludes sSCRT, SCRT held in contracts or liquidity pools, and cross-chain tokens. Users must convert these back to native SCRT or staked SCRT before September 1st. In addition, the team proposed lowering the SCRT inflation rate from 9% to 5%, and stated that once approved by the community governance vote, SCRT Labs will cease maintaining the Secret Network and open-source all its code under a permissive license. This proposal is currently still pending on-chain governance confirmation.
EthLabs: Advancing hiring, fundraising, and asynchronous cross-chain interoperability based on ZooKeeper technology.
PANews reported on July 6th that EthLabs, an Ethereum ecosystem research organization, announced that it has entered its second week of operation and is actively recruiting and raising funds. The team plans to expand to approximately 10 people soon and 20 people in the medium term, and has already received over 300 applications. Regarding funding, it has secured initial support from Bitmine, Sharplink, and Joseph Lubin, and is seeking one or two additional anchor funders. Technically, EthLabs is accelerating the development of asynchronous cross-chain interoperability based on ZooKeeper technology, believing that more secure cross-chain bridges will provide issuers with confidence in the widespread distribution of assets across the network, while also focusing on the Fast Confirmation Rule's improvement of L1 to L2 link latency.

Positioned as an open network architecture for AI workloads and next-generation security threats, it upgrades Cisco's long-evolving ACI system. Cisco stated that Nexus One will integrate with Cisco's unified platform, Cisco Cloud Control, aiming to improve architectural flexibility, openness, and scalability while maintaining backward compatibility with existing systems. However, Nexus One is not a standalone product, but rather an "architectural evolution" similar to ACI, shifting its focus from early innovation to standardization and cross-ecosystem interoperability to adapt to the complex network needs of the AI/ML era.
Cloudflare launches a monetization gateway that enables stablecoin payments via the x402 protocol.
PANews reported on July 2nd that, according to The Defiant, Cloudflare opened its Monetization Gateway waiting list on Wednesday, allowing customers to pay for the use of web pages, datasets, APIs, or MCP tools via stablecoin settlement using the x402 protocol. Cloudflare stated that it handles approximately one-fifth of global internet traffic, and this product is designed to address the trend of AI agents gradually replacing humans as the primary source of web traffic, arguing that traditional per-seat or subscription-based charging models are unsuitable for machine-to-machine transactions—where agents only read a page or call an API once, rather than maintaining a monthly account. Monetization Gateway provides website operators with a unified control panel, executing payment policies at the Cloudflare network edge before requests reach the origin server.
