The Hyperliquid Builder channel now accounts for 8.4% of total transaction volume on the site, while Phantom contributes the largest share of revenue at 26.7%.
According to BlockBeats, on July 2nd, Hyperinsight monitoring showed that Hyperliquid's total transaction volume in the past 24 hours was approximately $9.19 billion, with the Builder channel contributing approximately $776 million, accounting for 8.4% of the total transaction volume, making it a third-party traffic entry point worth continued monitoring. Phantom contributed approximately $138 million in transaction volume in the past 24 hours, accounting for 17.5% of the Builder channel's transaction volume; Invo ranked second with approximately $65.92 million, accounting for 8.4%; Rabby and Insilico accounted for 8.2% and 8.0% respectively. In addition, the other 387 long-tail Builders contributed approximately $264 million in transaction volume, accounting for 33.5%. In the past 7 days, Hyperliquid's Builder ecosystem generated approximately $1.4 million in transaction fees, covering approximately 56,000 users. Within the platform, Phantom remains the highest-grossing Builder, while Invo has overtaken it in terms of user numbers. Phantom contributed approximately $374,300 in transaction fees over the past 7 days, accounting for 26.7% of Builder's total revenue, maintaining its leading position. MetaMask ranked second with approximately $198,100, and Invo ranked third with approximately $117,600. Invo gained approximately 15,000 users over the past 7 days, representing 26.1% of Builder's total users, surpassing Phantom's approximately 9,000 users. During the same period, Invo's user base grew by approximately 35.2%, while Phantom's user base declined by approximately 5.3%.
The USDH-denominated market on Hyperliquid: HyperCore has been settled.
PANews reported on June 20th that Hyperliquid announced that as part of its USDH exit plan, the USDH-denominated market on HyperCore has been settled. Users can immediately process their remaining USDH assets, including: converting USDH to USDC in the HyperCore spot order book, converting USDH to USDC on HyperEVM, withdrawing USDH from Borrow/Lend products, and repaying borrowed USDH by purchasing USDH/USDC trading pairs. Hyperliquid stated that users should promptly complete the relevant asset conversions and loan/borrowing positions to avoid the impact of the USDH exit process.
HyperEVM suffers from specified bit deviations and insufficient developer experience, with core applications still limited to a few scenarios.
According to Odaily Odaily, a controversy has seemingly erupted in the Hyperliquid community regarding the positioning of HyperEVM. Some argue that HyperEVM is not designed as a general-purpose Ethereum execution environment, but rather as a dedicated execution layer that interacts in combination with Hypercore. They believe its core design should rely on corewriters and pre-compiled contracts, rather than being used as a general-purpose L1 layer. However, they argue that the current learning curve for developers is steep, and the complexity of system address interactions leads to multiple transactions required for cross-asset operations, resulting in low efficiency. In many cases, asset exchange is even less efficient than the AMM mechanism. Furthermore, HyperEVM has long suffered from being "neglected," possibly due to insufficient investment in ecosystem development as team resources are concentrated on core products such as HIP-3, HIP-4, and portfolio margin. The community suggests that to improve HyperEVM's ecosystem activity, it's necessary to improve developer tools, optimize the corewriter mechanism, and incentivize more on-chain experimental applications similar to DeFi Summer; otherwise, smart contract innovation may continue to slow down.
Tradexyz, a leading builder on Hyperliquid, almost monopolizes HIP-3 opening positions, accounting for approximately 97%.
PANews reported on June 16th that, according to Laevitas, the HIP-3 builder layer on Hyperliquid is currently almost entirely monopolized by Tradexyz, which holds approximately $2.871 billion in open positions, accounting for about 97% of the total network open positions of $2.959 billion. All other builder DEXs combined hold less than $88 million, including approximately $35 million in Dreamcash, $22 million in HyENA, and $19 million in Ventures. The report points out that although a market for long-tail builder-built perpetual contracts has emerged on-chain, in terms of actual capital volume, it remains at the "tail end" relative to Tradexyz.
