Etherlink: EVM Bridge attempted to suspend transfers due to a security attack; no funds have been lost so far.
According to Foresight News , Etherlink has announced that its EVM Bridge has been targeted by a security attack. As a precaution, all transfers have been suspended to protect user funds while the issue is under investigation. No funds have been lost. The team is working closely with LayerZero, Asymmetric Research, and Zeeve to investigate the issue and ensure that the attack attempts are fully mitigated. A timeline for service restoration has not yet been determined.
Polygon zkEVM will shut down on July 1st; assets within the DeFi protocol will need to be manually migrated.
According to Foresight News , QuickSwap, the native DEX of the Polygon ecosystem, citing the Polygon governance forum, states that the Polygon zkEVM mainnet Beta sequencer will officially shut down on July 1, 2026, approximately two weeks from now. Users must complete asset withdrawals and cross-chain operations before this date; otherwise, funds held in DeFi protocols will be irretrievable. Assets within wallets that have not yet completed cross-chain operations will automatically migrate to Ethereum L1 after the shutdown and be available for users to claim through a dedicated interface. Assets held in DeFi protocols such as QuickSwap will not be automatically migrated; users must manually withdraw their positions and complete the cross-chain operation before July 1st. Assets not claimed before December 31, 2027, will be considered forfeited. Users can perform cross-chain operations via ui.agglayer.dev.
