The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a risk warning regarding the potential security backdoors in the AI programming tool Claude Code.
According to Odaily Odaily, the Cybersecurity Threat and Vulnerability Information Sharing Platform (NVDB) of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently discovered that the AI programming tool Claude Code has a security backdoor vulnerability, which poses a serious threat. Claude Code is an AI programming tool developed by Anthropic, an American company, which can autonomously complete code writing and repair tasks based on text requirements. Due to its built-in monitoring mechanism, it can send sensitive information such as user location and identity to remote servers without the user's consent. The affected Claude Code versions are 2.1.91 to 2.1.196. It is recommended that relevant units and users immediately conduct a comprehensive investigation. For development terminals that have installed the above-mentioned affected versions, they should immediately uninstall or upgrade to the latest secure version that has removed the relevant backdoor code. Strengthen the control of external access permissions and traffic monitoring of development tools within the core business network segment to prevent the unauthorized transmission of sensitive data.
SpaceX AI and Cursor plan to launch their first jointly developed AI model as early as Wednesday.
PANews reported on July 8th that, according to Reuters citing The Information, SpaceX AI and Cursor plan to launch their first jointly developed AI model as early as Wednesday. The report stated that the model was originally scheduled for release earlier this week but was delayed due to efficiency optimizations. The new model is expected to have rapid information processing capabilities and, in some aspects, compete with Anthropic's Opus 4.8 and OpenAI's GPT 5.5. In June, SpaceX announced its acquisition of Anysphere, the company behind the AI programming assistant Cursor, in a $60 billion all-stock transaction to strengthen its position in the AI tools market. SpaceX (formerly xAI) was acquired by SpaceX in February of this year, and SpaceX officially joined the Nasdaq 100 index this Tuesday.

SpaceX's IPO drives record-breaking tokenized stock trading, with on-chain transaction volume reaching $3.86 billion in June.
According to Odaily, driven by the buzz surrounding SpaceX's initial public offering (IPO), the tokenized stock market saw record trading activity in June, with on-chain transaction volume reaching $3.86 billion, a 145% increase from May. Of this, tokenized SpaceX stock accounted for $1.19 billion, representing approximately 31% of the total tokenized stock trading volume in June. Backpack Securities' SPCX token became the most actively traded SpaceX tokenized stock product, with a single-month on-chain transaction volume of $1.08 billion. Data shows that this round of growth was primarily driven by demand for SpaceX-related assets. SpaceX previously completed a record-breaking $75 billion IPO, valuing the company at approximately $1.8 trillion on a fully diluted basis. While traditionally popular assets such as Nvidia, Tesla, the S&P 500 ETF (SPY), and the Nasdaq 100 ETF (QQQ) remained actively traded, none reached the market enthusiasm of SpaceX's tokenized shares. Furthermore, the total market capitalization of tokenized shares rose to $1.53 billion in June, a 6.64% increase from the previous month, marking the 15th consecutive month of growth. (CoinDesk)
