A Polymarket KOL refuted Bloomberg's "insider trading" report, stating that the wallet belonged to an ordinary user he knew, not an insider.
According to Foresight News , Polymarket KOL Car tweeted a rebuttal to a recent Bloomberg report alleging large-scale insider trading on Polymarket. Bloomberg previously claimed to have discovered a wallet that profited $1.5 million through "insider trading" in Iran-related markets. Car stated that the wallet belonged to an ordinary user he knew, not an insider, and that the actual profit was only about $300,000 (not $1.5 million). Bloomberg included the account's frequent buying and selling within an 80% range in its profit calculation, resulting in significant data distortion. Furthermore, the account had previously lost approximately $120,000 in markets related to the "peace agreement," which Bloomberg did not mention. The Polysights data it used flagged thousands of legitimate trading accounts (including sports and crypto market traders) as "suspicious," the vast majority of which were not insider traders.
Bubblemaps has disclosed suspected insider trading involving the KINS token, with one address purchasing it two minutes before the CA announcement.
According to Foresight News , Bubblemaps, an on-chain analytics tool, disclosed that at the initial launch of Solana's on-chain gaming token KINS, wallet address 49UUeT purchased 4.7% of the token's total supply at approximately $127. Based on current prices, this position is now worth over $600,000. Bubblemaps points out that this purchase occurred approximately two minutes before the project team announced the contract address (CA) on the X platform, raising questions about whether it was luck or insider information. KINS is the native token of Kintara, an MMO game on the Solana blockchain explorer. It officially launched on May 22nd, reaching a market capitalization of $15 million at one point, and attracting the attention of crypto KOL Ansem. Ansem publicly stated that Kintara was adding approximately 7,000 new users daily, with servers consistently at full capacity, and players could profit on the blockchain by selling in-game items and in-game currency.

ZachXBT questions whether this entity's actions were due to "good luck" or insider trading, noting that all four BSC tokens have shown signs of market manipulation.
Terraform liquidators allege that Jane Street used insider information obtained through a private Telegram group to prematurely sell and short UST.
According to newly declassified court Odaily, Wall Street quantitative trading giant Jane Street is accused of obtaining non-public internal information from Terraform Labs through a private Telegram group called "Bryce's Secret" before the Terra crash in 2022. She allegedly sold approximately $192 million worth of UST in advance and simultaneously established short positions, profiting approximately $134 million during the collapse of the approximately $40 billion Terra ecosystem. The lawsuit alleges that on May 7, 2022, just nine minutes after Terraform withdrew $150 million in liquidity from the Curve pool, Jane Street sold approximately $85 million worth of UST on Curve. The wallet in question was subsequently suspected of being a key address that caused UST to de-peg. Jane Street denies the allegations, calling the lawsuit "baseless" and stating that she will actively defend herself. The lawsuit also names co-founder Robert Granieri and trader Michael Huang, accusing them of violating federal securities laws and the Commodity Exchange Act. (CoinDesk)
