Following the cryptocurrency market crash, buy the dips hunters emerged, with several whale and well-known traders increasing their holdings of BTC and ETH against the trend.

According to BlockBeats, on June 6th, HTX market data showed that Bitcoin briefly fell below $60,000, the first time it has fallen below this level since October 2024, currently priced at $61,091. Ethereum fell below $1,600, currently priced at $1,583, a 24-hour drop of 8.8%. In the past 24 hours, a total of $1.829 billion in positions were liquidated across the network, including $1.457 billion in long positions and $372 million in short positions. Amid the cryptocurrency market crash, several well-known traders are buy the dips and shill. Among them, prominent trader Killa (@KillaXBT) stated that he has opened a long in Bitcoin, with a stop-loss at $31,950 and a target price of $160,000. He believes Bitcoin may have bottomed out, and his current position is primarily spot trading with low leverage, but caution is still advised regarding the risk of a pullback. After Bitcoin fell below $60,000 today, large buy orders appeared in the market. Killa also demonstrated a pattern where Bitcoin often experiences short-term suppression followed by a rebound after similar buy walls have appeared in the past. Geoffrey Kendrick, Head of Digital Asset Research at Standard Chartered Bank, stated that Bitcoin's bottom is "almost complete," and the current price range may represent a long-awaited buying opportunity for investors. A key trigger for the recent decline was Strategy's sale of 32 BTC, but based on historical experience from the end of 2022, Strategy is likely to conduct a much larger buyback soon, potentially reaching 10 to 100 times the previous sale. If this buying is confirmed, it will be a significant signal that the market has bottomed out. Crypto KOL Ansem, however, advises retail investors not to rush into "catching a falling knife" and suggests patiently waiting for the bottom to be established. Jiang Zhuoer, founder of BTC.com (B.TOP), announced that he has bought back all of his previously sold Ethereum positions at an average price of $1645, after clearing out his positions between $2200 and $2400. He anticipates a rebound in Bitcoin within the next 1 to 3 days and plans to sell more Ethereum during the rebound. Bitcoin has not broken below the strong support level of $60,000, and selling pressure from ETFs and other US stock market institutions is decreasing, suggesting a potential rebound in the crypto market over the weekend. A whale, aiming for a "10-point target," opened a long position of 2835.32 BTC at $60153.8, worth $170 million. On-chain data shows multiple whale buy the dips ETH at the bottom. An OTC whale(0xFB7) bought another 29,000 ETH from FalconX, worth approximately $46.69 million. Currently, this whale holds approximately 187,460 ETH ($296.19 million). A whale(0x2bd) has borrowed a total of 100 million USDT from Aave since yesterday and bought 59,742 ETH. Currently, this whale holds a total of 133,800 ETH, worth approximately $212 million. F2Pool

The Bank of Korea has released a regulatory proposal suggesting that personal stablecoin transactions exceeding $10,000 should be limited to transfers from verified wallets.

According to Mars Finance, the legal team of the Bank of Korea has published a research paper titled "Regulatory Scheme for Foreign Remittance Transactions Targeting Stablecoins," proposing regulatory recommendations for large-scale stablecoin transactions. The paper, referencing current South Korean foreign exchange control regulations, proposes constraints on stablecoin transfers exceeding $10,000 between individuals, requiring such transactions to be conducted only between officially certified wallets, along with a pre-reporting mechanism. The institution acknowledges that there are technical obstacles to fully controlling unregistered wallets, but due to anti-money laundering compliance requirements, it is necessary to strengthen restrictions on large-scale cross-border stablecoin fund flows. South Korean regulators have previously repeatedly stated the need to improve the monitoring system for cross-border crypto asset transactions using non-custodial wallets; this paper further refines and implements the regulatory approach.
