AMIKO completes OpenHermit upgrade, ecosystem development section officially open.

ChainCatcher reports that AMIKO has announced the completion of its full-platform Agent runtime upgrade, migrating the underlying platform to its self-developed open-source architecture, OpenHermit. According to the project team, existing users have already completed the system transition, and new users will run directly on the OpenHermit architecture after registration. Simultaneously, the AMIKO ecosystem development section has officially entered the open phase. AMIKO is an identity and social infrastructure for the AI Agent era, built around four dimensions: identity, productivity, social interaction, and economy. It aims to provide users with AI Twins, Companions, Assistants, and Experts that can represent their actions, communication, and collaboration. OpenHermit is AMIKO's self-developed open-source Agent runtime, designed for large-scale agent production-level deployment scenarios, supporting stable hosting and low-cost continuous operation of a large number of agents. During the internal testing phase, OpenHermit has already garnered discussion and code contributions from the global developer community, and the relevant code repository is now open on GitHub. Documentation and quick start guides can be viewed via openhermit.ai. This upgrade is also seen as a product implementation milestone in AMIKO's recent strategic moves. Previously, AMIKO received strategic investment from US technology investment firm High Ridge Holdings and reached a strategic investment and comprehensive ecosystem cooperation agreement with Feixiaohao. With the upgrade of its underlying architecture, independent developers and professional teams can develop and deploy products and services within the platform ecosystem based on AMIKO's infrastructure covering identity, productivity, social, and economic layers. AMIKO stated that its goal is to become a universal agent infrastructure platform for the AI-native era, allowing the flow of identity, productivity, social, and economic elements to occur naturally between users and agents.

The Bank of Korea has released a regulatory proposal suggesting that personal stablecoin transactions exceeding $10,000 should be limited to transfers from verified wallets.

According to Mars Finance, the legal team of the Bank of Korea has published a research paper titled "Regulatory Scheme for Foreign Remittance Transactions Targeting Stablecoins," proposing regulatory recommendations for large-scale stablecoin transactions. The paper, referencing current South Korean foreign exchange control regulations, proposes constraints on stablecoin transfers exceeding $10,000 between individuals, requiring such transactions to be conducted only between officially certified wallets, along with a pre-reporting mechanism. The institution acknowledges that there are technical obstacles to fully controlling unregistered wallets, but due to anti-money laundering compliance requirements, it is necessary to strengthen restrictions on large-scale cross-border stablecoin fund flows. South Korean regulators have previously repeatedly stated the need to improve the monitoring system for cross-border crypto asset transactions using non-custodial wallets; this paper further refines and implements the regulatory approach.
