XION introduces a dual-module architecture, DKIM and ZK, becoming the first blockchain to store email authentication keys on-chain.

On February 11, XION officially announced the launch of its new infrastructure and application scenarios. XION became the first blockchain to store email authentication keys (DKIM) directly on the chain, and also the first consumer-grade L1 public chain to achieve zero-knowledge verification at the protocol layer. XION points out that existing email verification schemes (including projects like zkEmail) all rely on centralized DNS servers to obtain encryption keys. When email service providers rotate keys, the old verifications become invalid, and there is no historical record to follow. XION's DKIM module permanently stores these keys in the on-chain state, completely eliminating the dependence on centralized DNS infrastructure. Its ZK module implements zero-knowledge proof verification at the protocol layer, which is 10 times more efficient than smart contract schemes. Working together, the two allow users to prove any information in an email without exposing the email itself. XION states that approximately 61% of employees who witness misconduct remain silent because the traditional choices are often "anonymity but being ignored" or "speaking out but potentially losing their job." Leveraging this infrastructure, XION enables various application scenarios, including: Anonymous whistleblowing and workplace evaluation (proving employment status without revealing personal information) Wallet recovery without seed phrase(email as backup key) Purchase behavior and certificate verification (no need to excessively share personal information) Trustless ticket resale and insurance claims, etc. Upon launch, it supports Gmail and Apple Mail, covering approximately 3.8 billion email users worldwide (representing over 90% of the global email market). Currently, the XION platform has over 800,000 monthly active users and has been integrated by more than 150 brands, including Uber, Amazon, and BMW. The official description states that it is a verification infrastructure built for the existing internet, "capable of verifying anything with zero information leakage."
