National Artificial Intelligence Application Shanghai Pilot Base: Releases Five Core Innovative Achievements
Mars Finance reported on March 28 that the National Artificial Intelligence Application Shanghai Pilot Base held a progress report release conference at Zhongshan Hospital affiliated with Fudan University on March 28, releasing five core innovative achievements and nine medical intelligent applications, which will strongly promote the high-quality development of "artificial intelligence + healthcare" in my country. The five key milestones are: 1. Building a new integrated computing power service platform covering computing, storage, networking, and development toolchains, forming a computing resource foundation that connects "model development—verification and iteration—inference services—security governance," breaking through technical adaptation barriers, achieving "domestic models using domestic chips," and achieving performance comparable to world-class computing power levels; 2. Launching six major medical vertical basic models, creating a full-stack, independently controllable multimodal large model matrix, covering diverse clinical scenarios such as imaging, pathology, traditional Chinese medicine, and scientific research, with many medical large models reaching international leading levels; 3. Establishing a national exemplary medical AI data infrastructure, aggregating massive amounts of high-quality medical, pharmaceutical, and medical data, and consolidating the core foundation for model training and iteration; 4. Creating the world-leading Chinese medical large model testing platform MedBench 4.0, establishing authoritative and unified industry evaluation standards; 5. Selecting and promoting world-class medical intelligent applications across multiple disciplines and scenarios, promoting the rapid application of cutting-edge technologies from the laboratory to the clinical front line. The conference also highlighted the release of nine medical intelligent applications, covering fields such as clinical diagnosis and treatment, medical device development, AI pharmaceuticals, and brain-computer interfaces. To date, the Shanghai Pilot Base has launched several intelligent systems, including a cardiovascular disease monitoring system, a hepatobiliary tumor monitoring system, a chest imaging multi-screening system, a gold-medal coder system, and a hospital-wide electronic medical record generation system. The hepatobiliary tumor monitoring system has been deployed to 122 medical institutions, serving over one million patients; the chest imaging multi-screening system has processed over 2.5 million cases, covering more than 20 hospitals nationwide, significantly improving clinical efficiency and diagnostic accuracy. The National Artificial Intelligence Application Shanghai Pilot Base (Medical Field) is a key platform for implementing national strategies and building a global hub for medical AI applications, driving medical AI from single-point breakthroughs to system integration.
