Security alert: Drift suffers major attack; over $220 million in assets suspiciously transferred.

According to ChainCatcher and Lookonchain monitoring, the Solana ecosystem DeFi protocol Drift Protocol suffered a major attack, with approximately $220 million to $270 million in assets suspiciously transferred to the address "HkGz4K". Subsequently, some of this capital was bridged to the Ethereum blockchain to purchase ETH, with 19,913 ETH purchased so far, worth $42.6 million. The attackers also transferred some of the stolen SOL to Hyperliquid for ETH and some to Binance. According to monitoring data from 2024111120230, the assets stolen by the hackers are currently detailed as follows: USDC worth $103 million; SOL worth $54 million; WBTC worth $19 million; WETH worth $12 million; cbBTC worth $11 million; USDT worth $6 million; USDS worth $5 million; SYRUPUSDC worth $3 million; and JLP worth $2 million. Drift Protocol has issued a statement indicating that they are aware of the unusual activity and are currently investigating. Please do not deposit funds into Drift during the investigation. This is not an April Fool's joke. Please exercise caution until further notice. Drift Protocol will release the latest information through official channels.
