The round was led by Moneta Ventures, with participation from Techstars, Parameter Ventures, and others. Its total funding to date is $16.3 million. The company positions itself as a "narrative intelligence" platform, primarily helping businesses identify and track public opinion risks driven by social media and AI-generated content. With the widespread adoption of generative AI, the speed and scale of information dissemination have significantly increased, making traditional brand monitoring tools inadequate. Data shows that by 2026, approximately 90% of internet content may be "synthetic content," posing a structural challenge to corporate reputation management. PeakMetrics' CEO stated that AI has fundamentally changed the way public opinion spreads, and businesses need to monitor how they are "described" in large models and AI chatbots. At the industry level, AI is driving a new round of financing and technology upgrades for PR and brand risk control tools, with a rapid increase in demand for infrastructure related to "AI-driven public opinion risk".
