The suspect in the White House Correspondents' Club dinner security incident will be charged on the 27th.

Odaily Odaily reported on April 26th local time that Acting U.S. Attorney General Todd Branch stated that a search warrant had been executed for the suspect involved in the White House Correspondents' Association dinner security incident, and that the suspect believed he traveled from Los Angeles to Washington D.C. by train via Chicago. Branch stated that the suspect will be charged in federal court on the morning of the 27th. Branch stated that the gunman at the White House Correspondents' Association dinner "intended to attack government staff, most likely including the president himself." Branch indicated that investigators have been able to gather information from the suspect's electronic devices and have interviewed several people who knew him, and they are beginning to understand his motives.
