According to independent analyst Markus Thielen, as reported by Mars Finance, Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) currently holds approximately $62 billion worth of Bitcoin at its cumulative purchase cost. Even during the past two quarters when Bitcoin was generally consolidating, the company continued to raise funds through the capital markets and increase its BTC holdings. Historically, Strategy's stock price has been highly correlated with Bitcoin's price, showing greater resilience and outperforming during bull markets. However, when market momentum weakens, the stock price sometimes falters earlier than Bitcoin. Currently, Strategy's stock price ($169) and Bitcoin's ($78,658) have diverged somewhat. If past patterns continue to apply, a subsequent convergence between the two could indicate an improvement in Strategy's relative performance, but ultimately, it will depend on the overall market environment.
