CoinShares: Digital asset investment products saw a net outflow of $1.47 billion last week, marking the third-largest weekly net outflow record in 2026.

According to CoinShares' latest Odaily, digital asset investment products recorded a net outflow of $1.47 billion last week, marking the second consecutive week of negative growth and the third largest single-week outflow in 2026. The cumulative outflow over the two weeks has reached $2.54 billion. Looking at different asset classes, Bitcoin saw an outflow of $1.315 billion, the largest single-week outflow in 2026, with year-to-date inflows shrinking from $3.9 billion to $2.6 billion; Ethereum saw an outflow of $223 million, roughly the same as last week; some Altcoin still recorded small inflows, including $31.8 million for XRP, $9 million for Near, and $7.7 million for Solana. Regionally, the US led the outflow trend, with $1.425 billion flowing out in a single week; Switzerland, Canada, and Hong Kong saw outflows of $16.2 million, $12.5 million, and $12.2 million respectively, indicating that risk aversion has spread from localized areas last week to most parts of the world. CoinShares points out that these outflows are closely related to escalating geopolitical risks related to Iran. Despite the ongoing legislative process of the Clarity Act, market risk aversion continues to deepen.
