Gate Ventures: Regulatory Progress and Institutional Entry Go Hand in Hand, Asset Tokenization Continues to Heat Up

According to the latest weekly report from Gate Ventures, macroeconomic and regulatory factors continued to dominate market sentiment over the past week. US stock indices rose across the board, with the Nasdaq leading the gains at 1.19%, while the US dollar index weakened to 98.942, reflecting investors' repricing of monetary policy expectations. Although the crypto market was under pressure due to net outflows of approximately $1.42 billion and $240 million from BTC and ETH ETFs respectively, institutionalization continued to accelerate. At the industry level, asset tokenization and institutional applications became market highlights, and the regulatory framework continued to improve. Stellar's collaboration with the DTCC to promote asset tokenization led to an 83% weekly increase in XLM; the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) issued guidance on regulated cryptocurrency perpetual futures trading; and Paxos became the first native crypto company to receive SEC clearinghouse certification. In terms of investment and financing, a total of 7 financing transactions were completed last week, with a total disclosed financing amount of US$521 million. Among them, Samsung invested US$408 million in Dunamu, which further reflects the long-term optimism of traditional financial institutions towards digital asset infrastructure.
