Humanity Protocol launches staking: a reward pool of 30 million H tokens is open for staking, worth approximately $28 million.
ChainCatcher reports that Humanity Protocol recently announced the official launch of its staking feature on Humanity Chain. According to the official announcement, the staking activity has an initial reward pool of 30 million H tokens. Based on H's recent high, the total value of the reward pool is estimated at approximately $28 million, and it is open to long-term ecosystem participants. This staking launch comes against the backdrop of a rapid increase in H's trading activity recently. Previously, H recorded high trading volumes on exchanges such as Bithumb and Bybit, and in some trading scenarios, it directly compared to Worldcoin (WLD). The launch of the staking feature is also seen as a further step by Humanity Protocol to improve long-term holding stickiness, solidify on-chain liquidity, and promote the development of the Humanity Chain ecosystem. Two Humanity Chain staking pools are open, with the highest APR reaching 10,658%. According to the activity page, this Humanity Chain staking activity mainly sets up two staking pools. The staking pool offers 10 million H tokens as rewards for a 6-month staking period and 20 million H tokens as rewards for a 4-year staking period. Users can choose the appropriate staking plan based on their different needs for lock-up period and liquidity. At the beginning of the event, the highest APR displayed on the staking page reached 10,658%. Since the staking yield will dynamically change with the number of participants, the total staking amount, and the reward distribution, the actual APR will be based on the real-time data on the event page. Regarding participation methods, users can transfer assets to their Humanity Chain wallet through exchanges that natively support H tokens, or transfer assets from the ETH chain to Humanity Chain via the official cross-chain bridge before participating in staking. Rewards are distributed according to the staking ratio, and ecosystem fee sharing is expected to be released simultaneously. The staking rewards will be distributed based on the proportion of assets held by the user's address in the corresponding staking pool. In other words, the proportion of a user's staking amount to the total staking amount in the pool will directly affect their share of the rewards. In addition to the fixed reward pool, the official announcement also mentioned that users participating in staking will have the opportunity to share in the transaction fee revenue generated by identity authenticators and verification services within the Humanity Protocol ecosystem. This means that staking is not just a short-term incentive activity, but is also tied to Humanity Chain's subsequent identity verification services, ecosystem usage, and on-chain economic model. From a market perspective, the launch of the 30 million H reward pool provides holders with a new on-chain revenue stream and also helps convert some circulating tokens into long-term staking positions. As the Humanity Chain mainnet ecosystem gradually advances...
