ZachXBT: AscendEX appears to be facing liquidity issues, with user withdrawals delayed by several days to weeks.

According to ChainCatcher, ZachXBT issued a community alert on the X platform, stating that multiple users have reported withdrawal delays of several days to weeks, or even complete inability to process withdrawals, on the centralized exchange AscendEX (formerly Bitmax). ZachXBT, after checking the exchange's known hot wallets using Arkham and TRM, discovered that its reserves lack major market capitalization tokens such as ETH, USDT, and SOL, potentially indicating liquidity issues. AscendEX was founded in 2018 by George Cao and Ariel Ling and suffered a hack by the Lazarus Group in December 2021, resulting in a loss of approximately $78 million.
