Smotrich stated that this position represents the joint stance of Netanyahu and the Defense Minister, and confirmed the establishment of a permanent military base in the security zone. Meanwhile, Iran stated that the Lebanese "de-escalation coordination mechanism" is the "first major test" of the new agreement, and Iran will not implement the relevant roadmap until Israel completely withdraws its troops.
