Doubao launches a professional version starting at 68 yuan, featuring an initial support for an office agent mode that operates on computers.

Odaily Odaily reports that ByteDance's AI assistant, Doubao, has officially launched its professional version service. Based on the newly released Doubao 2.1 series model, the professional version is designed for users in complex office and productivity scenarios, offering higher usage limits and, for the first time, a task mode that can execute Agent tasks. According to reports, after user authorization, the office task mode can directly operate the local computer and browser to assist in handling tasks such as document, spreadsheet, and data organization, and supports cross-application automation operations such as automatically posting scheduled microblogs. This mode has a built-in Office suite, supports multi-round editing and collaboration of online documents, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations, and provides skill packages such as creative design, data visualization, and financial analysis, while also supporting user-defined skills. In addition, Doubao Professional Edition supports scheduled tasks, which can automatically generate daily reports and summary information; in application development scenarios, it also supports the rapid construction of online application systems with backend databases, and the related database functions are currently in the gray-scale testing phase. In terms of pricing, the Professional Standard Package is priced at 68 yuan per month for continuous subscription, integrating the Doubao 2.1 Pro model, with more than 5 times the credit limit for office tasks and expert mode compared to the free version; the Enhanced Package is priced at 200 yuan per month for continuous subscription, with 4 times the credit limit of the Standard Package; and the Premium Package is priced at 500 yuan per month for continuous subscription, with 10 times the credit limit of the Standard Package. Free users can still experience the office task mode integrated with the Doubao 2.1 Turbo model. Meanwhile, ByteDance has launched exclusive offers for college students, with certified students able to enjoy a continuous monthly subscription price of 38 yuan when purchasing a standard package, and will also provide accessibility discount programs for visually impaired users.
