Hurun released the "2026 Global Unicorn List," with the top three all having ventures into large-scale model businesses.

Mars Finance reported on June 25th that the Hurun Research Institute released the "2026 Global Unicorn List." The list shows that the number of global unicorn companies reached a record high of 1,603, a 5.3% increase from last year, representing an increase of 80 companies. The United States leads with 806 unicorn companies, an increase of 48 from last year, accounting for 50.3% of the global total. China ranks second globally with 381 unicorn companies, an increase of 38 from last year. The United Kingdom, with 70 unicorn companies, surpasses India (61) to rank third. The top three all focus on large-scale business: With SpaceX's record-breaking IPO, Claude's parent company, Anthropic, became the world's most valuable unicorn, valued at 6.6 trillion yuan, a single-year increase of 6.1 trillion yuan, setting a Hurun Unicorn List record; ChatGPT's parent company, OpenAI, ranked second with a value of 5.8 trillion yuan; and Doubao's parent company, ByteDance, ranked third with a value of 3.3 trillion yuan.
