He admitted that his previous caution regarding celebrities issuing tokens stemmed from the misconception that they would share his ethical standards and wouldn't risk exploiting investors for a few million dollars. "This assumption was wrong, but I won't make the same mistake again," he stated, emphasizing that he is not a celebrity and has no plans to exploit investors. Ansem believes there is a win-win approach to token issuance: attracting new users to the crypto industry, allowing them to participate through speculative assets, providing liquidity for existing investors at the bottom of a bear market, and then channeling the resulting attention to truly meaningful projects and teams within the industry. He cited Dogecoin and BONK as examples—the former, starting from scratch, now boasts a market capitalization of $11 billion and was a major user acquisition event in the crypto industry; the latter revitalized the Solana ecosystem at the bottom of the FTX crash and airdropped tokens to its core developers and team. Ansem also revealed that he entered the industry in 2017, resigned from his software engineer job in 2021 to devote himself fully to the crypto field, and is now co-founding a trading application and running a podcast. He emphasized that this is the first project he has led and controlled a majority of the token supply.
