According to Foresight News , citing Cointelegraph, Australian cryptocurrency exchange Swyftx has obtained an Australian financial services license, indicating its intention to explore opportunities in the cryptocurrency payments sector. The license allows Swyftx to offer derivatives such as cryptocurrency options or futures to retail customers and authorizes it to provide non-cash payment services, enabling the fintech company to offer payment services to both business and retail clients. Swyftx interim co-CEO Andrea Yuen stated that after obtaining a license to provide payment services, the company "will no longer be a pure cryptocurrency spot exchange." Swyftx does not currently hold an AFSL license for spot cryptocurrency trading.
Nvidia-backed Nscale secures $900 million in revolving credit to accelerate its global AI data center expansion.
Mars Finance reports that Nscale, a UK-based AI infrastructure startup backed by Nvidia, announced on Tuesday that it has secured a $900 million revolving credit facility to accelerate its data center construction in Europe, the US, and the Asia-Pacific region. BTSE launches cryptocurrency exchange BTSE Indonesia in Indonesia.
According to Mars Finance, on July 5th, blockchain trading and payment company BTSE Group recently launched its cryptocurrency trading platform BTSE Indonesia in Jakarta through a joint venture with PT Aset Kripto Internasional, and rebranded its local licensed platform NVX. BTSE will reportedly provide trading infrastructure and liquidity support, while the local Indonesian team will handle marketing, business partnerships, sales, and user growth. BTSE Indonesia stated that it has received approval from the Indonesian Financial Services Authority (OJK) to operate as a regulated digital financial asset trading platform. This license is expected to allow it to expand into cryptocurrency futures and other businesses in compliance with local regulatory requirements. Official data shows that cryptocurrency trading volume in Indonesia reached 556.5 trillion Indonesian Rupiah (approximately US$31.2 billion) from January to November 2024, and the number of registered cryptocurrency users reached 22.11 million as of November 2024.
Nigeria's SEC has added Kucoin and GIGX to the ARIP sandbox, bringing the total number of regulated crypto companies to nine.

The SEC stated that ARIP currently regulates nine digital asset companies, and that in-principle approval does not equate to full legalization or full authorization for all crypto platforms within Nigeria. It also announced the sale of its cryptocurrency business and the transfer of blockchain network operation and management rights to Alapin Holdings, a subsidiary of dao5. Saga AI Labs has already implemented AI character projects with multiple game partners and plans to expand its business to consumer brands, sports, and other fields in the future.
