BGIN, a US-listed company, successfully completed the 4nm tape-out of its first BTC ASIC chip, BT1.

On March 17, BGIN BLOCKCHAIN LIMITED (NASDAQ: BGIN), a US-listed digital asset technology company with proprietary cryptocurrency mining technology and a manufacturer of cryptocurrency mining hardware, announced the successful first tape-out of its BT1 Bitcoin mining ASIC chip, built on a 4-nanometer process. This is its first proprietary chip designed specifically for Bitcoin mining, marking a significant milestone for the company's Bitcoin mining chip project. The project previously entered the tape-out stage in October 2025, and the first tape-out was successful. With the tape-out complete, the BT1 chip has now entered the system-level testing and production preparation phase. This success marks BGIN's seventh consecutive successful tape-out of its ASIC mining chip project since 2022, demonstrating outstanding execution capabilities. BGIN stated that the first successful tape-out helps reduce development risks and strengthens the company's confidence in executing its multi-generation Bitcoin mining roadmap. At the same time, early development of the next-generation advanced architecture has been initiated to achieve better energy efficiency in the chip.
