According to Foresight News , decentralized data network Vana has announced the acquisition of the Memory Protocol team, an open data protocol within the Base ecosystem. Jack Spallone, the head of Memory, has joined Vana to lead the integration of related technologies. The specific acquisition price was not disclosed. Simultaneously, an upgraded version of the Vana app has been launched for beta testing. This upgrade provides users with a personal data server deployed locally on their devices, controlled by the users themselves. It can connect to Spotify listening history, Ora sleep data, calendars, and cross-platform conversations, among other information. Data is stored locally, not on platform servers, and users can independently grant or revoke access permissions to third-party applications.

Mars Finance reports that the Zcash development team has announced plans to introduce formal verification through the upcoming new privacy pool, Ironwood, to eliminate the risk of "undetectable issuance vulnerabilities" through mathematical proof. Previously, it was reported that while the vulnerability in the Orchard shielding pool had been patched and there was no evidence of exploitation, the community decided to launch the new Ironwood shielding pool and conduct comprehensive formal verification of its protocol because it is theoretically impossible to confirm whether covert issuance has occurred through on-chain history.
NEAR Protocol's dynamic sharding feature is now live on the testnet, automatically splitting shards without manual intervention.
According to Foresight News , NEAR Protocol tweeted that its Dynamic Resharding feature was launched on the testnet last week in the 2.13 update. Testnet shards can now automatically split when a state size threshold is reached, completing the scaling without manual intervention or coordinated upgrades. This update also includes upgrading the signature scheme to a post-quantum-secure version.
