According to Beating, Google DeepMind's newly released video generation model, Gemini Omni Flash, topped the Video Arena blind test leaderboard with an Elo score of 1404. This new model leads ByteDance's Seedance 2.0 Mini, which previously held the top spot, by a full 101 points, setting a new record for the largest score difference on this leaderboard. Video Arena, a leaderboard based on blind human voting, has previously been dominated by ByteDance's Seedance series models in the top three. Seedance 2.0 Mini, with its better multi-camera stability and faster generation speed, ranked first with 1303 points. Gemini Omni Flash's rise to the top signifies that Google's video generation model has overtaken competitors like ByteDance within six months, leaping from a lagging position during the Veo era to the forefront.

According to a report by 10x Research, recently listed crypto-related companies have seen their share prices plummet from their post-IPO highs. Gemini (GEMI) has fallen 91%, Amber (AMBR) 89%, BitGo (BTGO) 79%, Circle (CRCL) 78%, Coinbase (COIN) 63%, and Securitize (SECZ) 41%. Data shows that these eight recently listed crypto companies are down an average of 73% from their post-IPO highs. The report points out that post-IPO price crashes have become a common phenomenon for crypto IPOs, and investors need to adopt more systematic strategies to cope with such volatility.
This week, 10 new companies completed their domestic IPO preparatory filings, with the semiconductor sector accounting for three of them.
Mars Finance reported on July 5th that, according to information disclosed on the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) website, 10 new companies received domestic IPO guidance filings this week (June 29th to July 5th). These companies are Zhejiang Deste New Materials, Qingdao Haisenlin Hair Products, Jiangsu Jingying New Materials, Wuxi Kenuowei New Energy, Jiangsu Yingneng Microelectronics, Zhejiang Yitaino Technology, Shengdake Semiconductor Technology (Shanghai), Nanjing Liancheng Technology, Sichuan Aidiweixin Biopharmaceutical, and Zheta Information Group. Three of these companies are in the semiconductor field. Shengdake Semiconductor is a semiconductor testing equipment manufacturer, backed by Hillhouse Capital and SMIC Capital. It previously signed a guidance agreement in 2022 but did not submit its application materials; this time it has restarted the process. Zheta Information is targeting domestic substitution of semiconductor CIM systems, while Yingneng Microelectronics focuses on power and analog ICs; both are first-time applicants. Four other companies are also applying for IPOs for the first time. Jingying New Materials mainly produces N-methylaniline, a core raw material for gasoline antiknock agents; Kenuowei focuses on new energy thermal management and components; Yitainuo is a national-level specialized and innovative "little giant" in the field of industrial automation pneumatic components; and Liancheng Technology is a provider of centralized network security management technology. The other three companies all have previous unsuccessful IPO experiences. PVB membrane manufacturer Deste applied for listing on the ChiNext/STAR Market three times in 2019, 2020, and 2023 without success; wig supplier Haisenlin terminated its IPO guidance twice, in 2023 and 2025; and vaccine R&D manufacturer Advaccine submitted its application for listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange's main board in April 2021, but has not yet made progress. According to information disclosed on the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) website on July 5th, three new companies received approval for overseas listing or full circulation of their unlisted shares this week (June 29th to July 5th), all listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Among them, Beijing Junzheng, a leading memory chip manufacturer, and Sifang Jingchuang, a fintech service provider, are already listed on the A-share market, with market capitalizations of RMB 125.5 billion and RMB 11 billion respectively. They plan to issue no more than 61.658 million and 67.8052 million shares respectively in their Hong Kong listing plans. Feishi Technology is an electric drive solutions provider. Its revenue is expected to reach RMB 1.625 billion in 2025, with new energy vehicle solutions accounting for 50.7% of its business, but it has not yet achieved profitability. The company first attempted to list on the Science and Technology Innovation Board (STAR Market) in 2021, but was rejected in November of the same year. It first submitted its application to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on October 31, 2025, but the application automatically expired upon the expiration of its validity period. This second attempt to list in Hong Kong involves issuing no more than 32.2908 million shares and converting a total of 116 million unlisted domestic shares held by existing shareholders into H shares.
